Sergio Tuve' was born in Rome.
After attending La Sapienza University, he joined the ISF (Istituto Superiore di Fotografia).
He worked extensively with well known fashion and celebrity photographers both in Rome and, in Milan, as an assistant to Fabrizio Ferri and Marco Glaviano.
He has been based in New York City since 1992 and, after assisting Bruce Weber, has contributed editorials to GQ, Elle, Steppin'Out, Eyes and New York Magazine.
